The Best Foods (#3) - Avacado
Avacado: It is considered to be a complete food, as a good mix of Protein, Carbs & Fat is found in this fruit. Found and used in Central America for centuries, it is rich in potassium and vitamin A. Avacado's pulp is believed to be both anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. That is why it also used to heal skin problems.
It is helpful in curing sunburns. Cut ripe Avacado in half, and rub it gently over the sunburnt skin.
Warning: As it is high in calories, people trying to lose weight should not eat too much of this fruit.

The Best Foods (#2) - Blueberries
Second in the Best Foods in my list are Berries.
Antioxidants help to protect the body from the damaging effects of free radicals & chronic diseases related with aging process. Lots of fresh fruits / vegetables contain the Vitamin C & are rich in antioxidants. Blueberries are one of the best out of them. They are rich in fiber too. It is a low calorie fruit, rich in nutrients.
Latest studies show that consumption of Blueberries may improve motor skills and age related memory loss.

For the next ten days, everyday I am going to write about the healthy foods.
The first one I want to mention is Soy. As most people know that Soybeans are one of the best source of proteins. Soybeans protein has been known for lowering Cholesterol and the risk of Osteoporosis. It also helps in Alzheimer's, kidney diseases, and menopause.
Soybeans should be a part of our everyday diet.

Television and soap operas are the part of everyone’s life. TV is a very good source of entertainment, and information. However, like most of the things, it has the other (negative) side too. Lots of people love to watch soap operas. Some like comedies, but most of the people like to watch melodramas, where the emotions are running high. Have you ever thought as to how the soap operas effect your minds and lives?
Now imagine watching your favorite soap. The main character you love, is going through a turmoil (a divorce, or getting humiliated from some one, etc.). You get so much into it emotionally, that you feel that it is happening to you. Your whole body gets tensed. You start hating the other person who is humiliating your favorite character. You wish that you could get there and thrash the other person. Though it is all drama, but now you are a part of it, and it starts playing with your mind, body and emotions. You feel the pain, when your character gets hurt. Those sorrows and pain get embedded in your mind, even after the soap is over. At the back of your mind, you keep on thinking about it. It stresses you out. The negative energy gets into your system, and when there is negative energy in your system, it can effect your body and mind negatively. You carry it with you, and can pass it to the other people. Now, it starts effecting the people around you. Is it really what you want? Is it really worth it.
Try watching something funny, humorous for a change, where you can laugh your heart out. Then feel the change in your system.
God bless you and give you a stresszero life.

Anger - Let us try to control it.
I saw an article about Office rage, and the story of the Sippy cup mom on Yahoo, which made me think, and write this.
Everyone gets upset and angry at times. It’s natural. Your circumstances, people around you, work related stress, getting late from work, getting stuck in traffic, etc. etc. etc. There are lots of things which can make you angry. These are your emotions taking control of you. At times, it’s better not to hold them inside you and let it go. But remember, lot of times they are just trivial things which upset you, and make you angry, which can be controlled without making a big issue out of them. These things can be sorted out nicely, without hurting yourselves and others. Lots of times small words like “Sorry” and “I beg your pardon” can do wonders. Some times it is better to make the other person realize in a nice way.
Remember:
- Anger eats you from inside. You are damaging ‘yourself’ more with your own rage, than the other person.
- Try to control your anger, because your brain stops thinking rationally when you are angry or upset.
- You tend to make more mistakes, when taking action in a fit of anger.
- Most people are just onlookers. They are not trying to help you. They are just having fun at your expense.
- Anger travels with you, from home to work place, and vice-versa. It travels with you when you are driving. It’s a chain reaction. You get it from someone, and then give it to many other people, and in turn those other people give it to lots of other people they come across (even their own family and kids). Do you think it is good?
We get upset when some one cuts us off on the freeway. We want to get ahead of them and cut them off, without thinking that someone can get hurt in the bargain. May be us, or some other innocent person who is not even a party to it. But our anger, and false ego overpowers us, and makes us do wrong things. We all get it into this kind of situation, but only if we can control our emotions at the time. It’s difficult, but not impossible. Try it next time.
Good Luck and God bless you.
